Log in account and profile issue

I just bought brand new xbox series x and when I first log in into the console why there is random username appear on my log in account? Is there an explanation behind this because I wonder why is there random username appear in my account I signning in for the frist time when I boosting the console up. Could you please explain and make a calification about this issue?

Let me see what I can do to help:

Is this your first-time logging into any Xbox?

This sounds like you were assigned a random username which happens when your account is first created. You have the option to change this username for free: Change Gamertag | Xbox Support

If this is not your first time signing in, then I would recommend double checking your account info. Specifically, your log in email. If the system picks up that there is no Microsoft Account associated to the email you typed in, then it will go through the account creation process and give you that randomly assigned gamertag.

I would ask you if you could try to login on www.xbox.com or www.microsoft.com first to check if you are able to login properly with your account.

Depending on what the answer is, we can proceed in one way or another.

Have you tried to log out of your account/profile, then restarting your pc and logging back in?

That is the account that I used to make the purchase. OK, if I log in to my MS account, that account has the purchase history, if I then switch over to my Xbox profile, staying in the MS account. That is the same profile that appears when I log in, for the refund process! It's the same account!!!

Is that the issue, that my MS account is linked with the wrong Xbox profile, do I have another mysterious Xbox profile that I don't know about?
