Riften, yes. It's fairly apparent once you get there.

    .

Also, Tonilia has to be my best bet. 25 to 35 Lockpicks every time she refreshes.

I never found them they were just there. I think if you do all your dailies pick ups of cloth, weapon tools, and the other one you may get it that way. Or maybe you need to reach a certain level but I never seen any I was able to open lock doors and lock
chest in DZ. This is a good site to read on the game if you're not a member

    lockpicking

You don't have to pick any lockpick perks. I have 100 lockpick skill and have yet to choose a single perk for lockpicking and I can instantly pick a Master lock with ease now. But in your situation that probably isn't going to help. Try and find a lockpicking
potion or enchanted item that makes lockpicking easier and then try and pick the lock. Also, if you ever do find an enchanted item that helps with lockpicking, keep it, because its more then likely that you will be needing it in the future.

What is the things you love, like, tolerate and hate in Skyrim?

I love almost everything about this game especially the looting and the dynamic dragon battles. Just epic!!

    .

I can tolerate the fact that it doesnt show the enemy levels or the follower levels. Just hope they patch this eventually.

    .

I HATE and I mean HATE the lockpicking in Skyrim. Keep in mind the lockpicking is not new to me. I had hundreds of hours in Fallout 3 and a lot of hours in NV and could go through both games with 1 lockpick. I chose an Imperial race and have had nothing
but problems with lockpicking. My friends that are Imperials have the same issue. I noticed Elves can lockpick MUCH easier. I even have my lockpicking up to over level 40 and wear a necklace and ring that should improve the lockpicking by 66% but STILL
have issues with lockpicking. Oh well I am just hoping eventually to get the lockpick that doesnt break to resolve the issue. But I dont want to "power level" my lockpicking. I will just get to 100 lockpick when I get there.

    .

Other than the lockpicking and a couple bugs, Skyrim is THE best single player RPG I have ever played in my life. Easily GOTY 2011.

wow the nocturnal lockpick is a godsend. I'm so glad they changed how lockpicking works in skyrim.

    The skeleton key. *spoilers*

Yeah, you have to return the key but it sort of takes the fun out of lockpicking (I like it anyway, lol) plus the quest rewards are pretty decent. There's a perk at level 100 lockpicking 'Unbreakable' which makes your lockpicks invincible.

    up on lock picking,

Serious question - why take perks in lockpicking UNLESS you're a treasure hunter and want the perks that give extra bounty etc? I see no point in putting points in there just to make lockpicking easier because there's only one secret to the success of
lockpicking of even Master locks from lvl 1 - PLENTY OF LOCKPICKS.
