locked Xbox account and terrible customer service

Ive just had my account locked by mircosoft for absolutely no reason they said it was for suspicious activity and it wasn’t. Unfortunately my contact number is not the same as my original number linked to that account so I can’t do a recovery that way so I’ve been doing the online recoveries I add my device ID my Xbox gamertag the last 4 digits of my back card and expiry date and send that off to get reviewed I’ve done that over 15 times now and I receive the same response back everytime

Unfortunately, we have determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership.  Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously, and our commitment to protecting your personal information requires that we take the utmost care in ensuring that you are the account owner.

This is such a terrible way of treating customers the account is worth thousands I’ve had it since I was 12 and it’s just taken away that easily for no reason what so ever.

And yes I’ve tried to call someone or email them and received no response.

Hello Scott, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

I'm afraid that neither anyone here nor Xbox Support would be able to help with recovering the account. However, speaking from past experience you will more than likely need to attempt recovery quite a few times before regaining access to the account. There is a sticky thread in both enforcement forums telling you they are no longer in use.

They probably should be locked down but aren't for some reason.

At least you now know this for the future.

So when you requested the callback and spoke with the Microsoft agent, what advice did they give you?

Support are nothing to do with xbox live enforcement which is why they can't help.

You were warned,your warning is the ToU/CoC that you agreed to when you started your account.

You will not get a refund for anything i'm afraid & the rules are exactly the same on PSN although you do not get as many 2nd chances there.

As long as your console is set to offline mode you can still play the majority of games although you obviously can't play online multiplayer.

As the enforcement team do not use the forums you would need to look on the enforcement site to see why you were suspended & to file for a case review if eligible
