Locked out of two Xbox accounts

Unfortunately, as you do not have access to the account, you will have to call your bank and ask them to block Microsoft Store charges.

Hi there is no way to merge two accounts together, but if you created a new account, you will have used another email address, you need to download the profile of your old account with your other email address that you originally registered with.

Hey Nathanial! The solution is actually quite simple to change spelling on accounts, but it requires you to spend 800MSP twice. Here's what you need to do.

First, change the GamerTag of the account you are posting on now to something different for 800MSP. Doing this will free up this spelling and let you use it on your old account. Now, go back on your old account and choose the gamertag change option on that
account and you will now be able to spend another 800MSP to change the tag of Nathanal Cross to Nathanial Cross as it will have been freed up. If you need to know how to change your GamerTag, then check this support article:

Change your gamertag on your Xbox 360 console

You can easily change your Xbox LIVE gamertag. If your gamertag was created for you during Xbox LIVE sign-up, you can change the gamertag once for free. Additional Xbox LIVE gamertag changes cost 800 Microsoft Points.

To change your Xbox LIVE gamertag

1. On your Xbox console, sign in using the Xbox LIVE gamertag that you want to change.
   
2. Go to Social, and then select your gamertag.
3. Select Change Gamertag.
4. Note the Priceof the change, and do one of the following:
   • Select Enter New Gamertag. If the gamertag you enter is already taken, you will be prompted to try another gamertag.
     
   • Select Get Suggestions to view possible gamertags.
5. Once you enter or select a new gamertag, select Yes, use this gamertag.
   

Note Click Add Microsoft Points if you don’t have enough points to complete the purchase.

Once you confirm your new gamertag, the change is reflected across Xbox LIVE. You don’t need to tell your friends that you changed your gamertag — their friends lists will be updated automatically.

Made a mistake creating your gamertag?

If you made a mistake when you created your gamertag and you want to change it, you’ll have to purchase a new gamertag. All gamertag purchases must be made through the dashboard and cost 800 Microsoft Points.

Please note, this only changes the spelling of your old GamerTag, anything from your new GamerTag will not be able to be transferred over to your old Gamertag, such as Gamerscore, Games bought, ect. However, you should be able to access any downloadable games
via your old account as long as the newer account remains on the same Xbox .

Have you tried removing your XBL profile from your console and then adding it back using only the new account credentials? If you haven't then that might help you out however I'd double check my Microsoft Account logon & email details on the web site first to ensure there is no sign of your old email address associated with your account.

Microsoft takes your security very seriously, and to protect customer privacy we can only help customers verify their account ownership through the online password recovery process. If you can't access your account verification methods, you won't be able to recover your account, even if you fill out a form. This is a sad situation, but there is nothing to be done.

So the hundreds of dollars that I’ve spent on games and DLC over the last 10 years, all the progress I’ve made in these games is just gone? And there’s no reason given?
