Locked out of newly migrated Minecraft account

I see! Try this steps. If you have any other Laucher on your computer other than the one found on Mojang's official website you must first do the following:

1 - Delete the Lauchers that exist on your computer that are not official Mojang;

2 - Restart your computer;

3 - Download the original software again and install:

https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download

If you don't have another Laucher on your computer or have already deleted:

1 - Open Minecraft Laucher;

2 - If you are already logged in, click on your image and Gamertag in the upper left corner of the screen and then on "Logout";

3 - If you are already logged out or not logged in to your account, delete all accounts registered in Laucher by clicking on the "X" next to each account;

4 - In Minecraft Laucher, enter the email and password of your Microsoft account!

Thanks for reading my post.

I believe Mojang was contacted through Minecraft.net which we were informed that this was not their problem since everything has been migrated over to Microsoft. The issue is that we cannot log into (name of family member's) Microsoft account through the Microsoft webpage log in or Minecraft client due to the account being locked due to who knows what.

Every time I buy a PC with Windows I need to create a new Microsoft account because as soon as the account is created I am immediately locked out of it. So I know this issue is a very common one that should have an answer but I cannot find it.

We just need stable access to this account so that (family member) can continue to enjoy this service.

You can add security emails for your accounts, could be one that's not related to Minecraft, is not always necessary to verify your identity with a phone number. Probably if a phone number appears is due to you didn't added nothing yet.

Just to confirm, you was able to migrate all the accounts properly to the desired / recently created Microsoft accounts, right?

Alright so it looks like there are a few roots that grow from this tree. Most are a dead end or lead here. It looks like you can only chat with Microsoft through the "Get help app" option and then by taking a route that doesn't necessarily look like it would solve or be related to our issue. I'll post if anything comes of the chat. Thanks.
