Locked out of my Xbox Account.

My friend recently bought a new Xbox S. Only problem is he doesn't remember his Xbox Password. The Phone Number connected to it is no longer in use, he forgot his Email password for his Xbox account and he can't reset it because it is connected to the old Phone Number.

He also tried to call Microsoft Support and they laughed at him while telling him he was basically out of luck without the Email or Phone Number.

He has tried multiple times on his old Xbox which still has his account logged in it to "Recover Your Account" option and it won't work.

If anyone anywhere has an solution or anything that can help, please, we are running out of options and things to try.

Last ditched attempt before I cancel/return the xbox.

I tried speaking with the billing team again to verify what details they have, so I can ascertain why my actual details are being rejected at the ID verification stage.

(The order was via Klarna and I'm wondering if my account is not fully populated with my address etc, or if there are other relevant details missing?)

Anyway... they could not help... But to troubleshoot the above I was provided with..Yes..You guessed it! Another form!

'I'm unable to access my **********@outlook.com email. This email is the login for my xbox account which is associated with a 24 month game pass. I've had my password reset request rejected by the automated sys x5 times now. I've provided my home address, my DOB, my payment details (last x4 digital and expiry date) It asked about an xbox I do not own? (360 or one, I bought an S) I just need to restore access to my email account please. This was purchased via Klarna, so I don't even know what details you have on my account to verify? Thanks in advance.'

Let's see how this goes.. Failing that, I have an open ticket with Game/Klarna to cancel the order..

Without the phone number and e-mail, it will be difficult to recover it, I would suggest trying Microsoft Xbox Support again, since he has his old console and the account is logged in, he can use the console serial number and other information to prove his ownership.

As you don't recall the email, you can use a previously linked phone number or Skype username. (The Skype username is not the same as the gamertag)
