Locked out of Microsoft account because of a faulty email address; how can I regain access?

As I mentioned earlier, I have a copy of the confirmation email I received when I activated a prepaid Minecraft card, At the bottom of the email, it mentions that saving this information makes it easier to receive help in case access to the email account is lost, which is exactly what has happened here. Is this something that could help?

1. My account is not locked; I used the phrase "locked out" to convey that I simply could not access my account. If my email address was working, I would be able to log in just fine.
2. I contacted them over a month ago and received no reply. Other users have been having issues with the service as well; I switched to a different one after I learned about this. I am not confident that I will ever be able to use that email address again.

It will not be easy to remember the name, date of birth, or any similar information associated with the account because they were chosen randomly. The recovery form has never asked me about my recent emails, but I have also never used Microsoft Outlook before.

If you have set up alternate email and phone number to your Microsoft account, it could be easier to recover the account. The information you got when you activate your Minecraft account was for your Mojang account and if you apply it to your Microsoft account, that could be helpful.

Due to sensitive and personal in nature, Microsoft accounts are fully managed and handled by an automated server and we don't have manual access to it because Microsoft really takes our security and privacy very seriously. The account recovery process is intended for the account owner to verify through the questions provided. Until the information provided can prove ownership of the account, then it can be recovered.

1. Have you entered incorrect passwords many times making your account locked?

2. Have you tried contacting the support for your burner email address to know why the email stops receiving emails so you can get the verification codes?

By the way, the account recovery process is designed for Microsoft account recovery to get back access to the account. The questions provided are intended for the account owner to verify ownership of the account. This would mean that support from community and live support cannot do more than what you can do for yourself with the account recovery questions because Microsoft accounts are fully managed and handled by an automated server and we don't have manual access to it because Microsoft really takes our security and privacy very seriously.

We recommend that you try filling out the account recovery form again. You can do this up to twice a day. Do this if you find more information or remember something else about your account that will help. You will be asked to provide account information such as date of birth, services you have taken advantage of with Microsoft, recent emails you have sent to your recipients, and also the subject of the email, etc.

We can no longer access the old account email and therefore cannot reset the password as necessary, but just entered a request for Microsoft to change the email address on that old account so we can regain access. It seems that will be necessary to be able
to effectively use this GamerID in the future. Once this is accomplished, will follow up if we still cannot figure out how to resolve this issue.
