    Locked out of Account I have had for 17 Years


    I've had an Xbox Live account since I was 12 and I've always used the same password and email for it. Three weeks ago, I was asked to sign-in (which I did with the correct email and password) and then I was asked to verify my log-in. The options I had to verify my account do not work since this account is older and not set up on the Microsoft Authentication App and the Phone Number on the account does not exist (since I had this account before I had a phone). I submitted the account recovery form several times across several days. Some of the forms have been immediatly rejected, but most seem to have gone through. I have not heard from the Microsoft Security Team for 3 weeks and no one on the Microsoft Support Team is able to help me. They say that they cannot contact the security team, which seems crazy. My question is, how do I get this situation resolved? When can I expect to hear back from the security team, as 3 weeks seems to be an excessive amount of time to wait when all infromation seems to suggest that I should have heard back within 24 hours. PLEASE HELP!

    if you used out of region points or changed your account region your currency wouldn't have transfered over as they are region locked

    This is something you should've addressed in 2015 not 2016-17

    Modern Warfare 3 is rated M for 17 +

    Elite scans your gamertag to see if you have an adult account.

    According to xbox, an adult account is one that is 18 years of age or older.

    Elite is flawed since it scans for an adult account and not if your 17.

    They have to change this because I am 17 and bought a year of elite and now cannot use it...

    Unfortunately, the only option to recover your account is through the account recovery form.

    -Make sure to use the correct domain for your account, such as hotmail.com, live.com, or outlook.com. Keep in mind that your email address may be country specific. For example, if you created your account in Sweden, your domain would be “hotmail.co.se” rather than “hotmail.com”."

    I've had this gamertag for around 16-17 years now, had Xbox Live Gold for the last 14 of those years. Since the OG Xbox days, but I didn't get a Live account when the service itself launched. I think I hopped on around a year later, I used to use my brother's
    account to play online before that.
