    This is for my personal Microsoft account. I have been unable to sign into my Microsoft account for months now and I have tried everything... nothing works. None my passwords work. When I use the account recovery option, I get a window that says:

    We need to verify your identify

    How would you like to get your security code?

    1. Email *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

    2. Email bo******@gmail.com

    I use option one, I get a code to my email and use that code. It works. But then it says something about how I turned on 2-factor authentication so they need to verify my identity using another method and the only method available is:

    Email bo******@gmail.com

    When I chose that option, it makes me fill in the entire email address, which I do, and it sends me a code.

    I put the code in, but it says it's correct. It's not incorrect. It's literally the exact code Microsoft just sent me. I copy and pasted it directly from the email. I have tried at least 20 times and it never works.

    Can anyone help me? I have an Xbox with probably thousands of dollars worth of software that I cannot access.

    Thanks for your response. I have tried for months... with the same results. I have used different devices, on different networks, at different times and nothing works. The link you sent asks you to either log-in, or reset your password. I cannot do either. That's exactly the problem.

    I know how frustrating it can be when this happens. Let's say that the only alternative you have at this moment is to submit the account recovery form, since I have also been through this situation and I can give you some recommendations:

    The first thing is to enter information that the account has, in case a phone number or card has been deleted, you should simply omit that information and not add it to the form. That said, you can enter the following link:

    I successfully went through all the steps, put in the serial number for my Xbox, put in my DOB, put in my phone number, put in my CC info that I used to purchase things with, etc. I got an email back saying that because I turned on 2FA, I cannot use that method.

    And you're saying Support cannot recovery my account either? What am I supposed to do.

    I did, I need a code sent to my email and the code from the Microsoft Authenticator app to reset my password. I can do the code from the app but I’m not getting a code sent to my email, I’ve done this many times before but it’s not working now.
