Locked from making purchases

I bought GTAV for the 360 today and it was the first time I'd fired up the system in a while. After getting the game installed, I set about downloading the free update packs. However, upon selecting the third download, I received an error stating a problem
with my billing information (I don't have any saved as I use top-up cards for actual purchases). Thinking I'd accidentally selected the full game, I tried it again and received message: "Your XBOX LIVE account has been blocked from making purchases" and gave
the error code 80153021.

I would appreciate it if this ban was lifted immediately as it seems entirely arbitrary on the part of the LIVE servers. Considering that the downloads I was trying to aquire were FREE makes the issue even more irksome.

Hey. Sorry for this. You have a couple option here in this case. You can try redeeming the code here on the website under My Account or Add Points and just select Redeem Code. If this works then ya! ... If not you could always contact 18004MYXBOX and
see what's going on on the billing side of the account. But try redeeming here on the site and hope that works

 

Locked from making purchases?

I tried to activate a prepaid 13 month gold subscription but when I tried to activate it I got a message back saying "Your Xbox live billing account has been locked form makiing purchases." How do I unlock whatever it is that is locked.

commerce.microsoft.com. If the issue persists after adding your billing information, contact our chat or phone support agents through our Contact
