    Local Two Player on Samsung Xbox App


    I recently purchased Samsung 85 inch tv. It has xbox app. I purchased two controllers to play with my son as separate players NOT the co-op team. Can I do it? If yes…. What are the games I can play?

    I tried Fifa23, Mortal Kombat but no luck.

    Unfortunately Xbox Cloud Gaming or XCLOUD does not support local multiplayer not only with Samsung gaming hub but all devices with XCLOUD as it is limited to single player only, we are sorry for the inconvenience.

    "Note Cloud gaming does not support local multiplayer. Currently, it only supports one player and one account at a time."

    Should.be noted that cloud play only applies to.the subscriber not.sub accoumts

    You aren't signing into.your own console but a server

    Secondary accounts can't.roam

    Only way to play together is a console

    One subscription only covers one player via cloud

    Thanks for the reply. Well its indeed a worst experience as I was using Xbox for the first time (because I got its builtin app in Samsung TV).

    I mean they are taking money by providing us subscription to play games without console.... and this lack of having local multiplayer just stops me believing on the goodness of Xbox. If they cannot provide the full features then why asking for 20 dollars per month subscription. It should be clearly mentioned at the time of purchasing the subscription.

    It wasted my time and mood finding it what am I doing wrong. I don't know why people makes things difficult. Where such dumb decision makers comes from.

    Anyway.... it ruined my weekend. Tc Mauro. Thanks again for the reply.

    Two local players / splitscreen?

    I don't believe you can do that, tbh. As far as I can tell, multiplayer is online only, no local/splitscreen support.
