Discus and support Local + Online Multiplayer Games? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; We often play as a couple (2 local players) against another couple over live (2 local players on another xbox one), but the games that can do this seem...     Local + Online Multiplayer Games?


    We often play as a couple (2 local players) against another couple over live (2 local players on another xbox one), but the games that can do this seem limited.

    So far only Advanced Warfare seems to offer this functionality. I was surprised Garden Warfare did not. Its either local or online only. Any other games allow this? Will Rory McIlory PGA Tour allow this? Maybe Jackbox Party Pack...any others!?!? If
    so, we'll buy them!

    Local Multiplayer Online?

    Just wondering before I go out and buy this game if it is possible to play with 2 players on one console if we both have Xbox Gold. My roomate and I want to play against a buddy from out of state.

    kind of. you can set up a vs match and sign in a guest, no xbox live required for both people. but you can only play vs.

    As smwutches points out, the game doesn't support local multiplayer/coop.

    Yes, you can play online multiplayer games, however, local multiplayer is not supported on cloud gaming.

    I believe cloud gaming is the list of games that have a 'cloud icon' on the game menu. Is that right? And these games are not supported with local multiplayer.

    How can identify online multiplayer games as I do not have a console? Apologies, if the question is inappropriate. Trying to understand how it works.
