    I was going to purchase the WWE AllStars digital copy ( WWE® All Stars™ ).

    However, in the description, when going to purchase it on my xbox, it says the mutiplayer has been removed.

    Does this mean:

    A) Just the online multiplayer has been removed

    B) The local mutiplayer has been removed

    C) Both

    I want to play this game locally, with three of my friends in the same room with me, on the same console. Is this no longer possible with the digital version?

    I downloaded the extra characters in the WWE Allstars game but none of the characters are appearing in the game. I have re-downloaded on a number of occasions and still nothing. What should I do to fix this problem?

    As of April 2013 the online multiplayer servers have been shut down. However you should still be able to play using 1-4 players locally.

    What I Feel Xbox has to do to Resurrect the Xbox One

    Im only waiting on better rights with the digital content...being able to buy/burn a physical copy,download it to my harddrive and remove the disc and still be able to play is whats needed for digital transition. That way I can store a hard copy and be
    able to reinstall it if my hard drive ever went out (even years after that games server isnt offering the download anymore).

    Legitimate digital copies (UltraViolet, iTunes, Amazon Instant Video) require a specific player. While downloads are possible to tablets and PCs for all three, I'm not aware of any streaming player that supports download to the local device. Even Xbox Video
    apparently removed the download option from the Xbox One client (it's in the 360 version).

    The only option I'm aware of is a small Home Theater PC hooked to a TV.

    Two days ago you were able to purchase the digital copy but for some reason it was removed!! From my local game store and other esquires found out if its true, that you wont be able to pre-pay the digital copy until the 8th!! But here's hoping that its nothing

    On the Xbox One, digital and physical disc games are one and the same. The data you're usually downloading is just packed on the disc. The disc is only replacing the download, as the game data is copied from the disc to your internal harddrive anyways.

    However, when you get a physical disc, the disc is the digital license (something like a "Proof of Purchase"), and has to be in the drive when you want to play the game, even if it's run off the harddrive.

    On the other hand: If your disc is damaged, but the security sector with the license is still readable, you can insert the disc, and download the download version from the store. But you still need the disc to "unlock" the download.
