Loaned a friend an XBOX One game and they can't play it. Any ideas?

So I loaned a friend a game and they installed it. That went fine. Now when they go to play it it doesn't work it simply just keeps trying to load. What is up with that?

Xbox home account won't share games but shares gold!

I just got an Xbox one x yesterday, added my friends account who I game share with, and can't play any of the games. They wont even show up on my ready to install. My old Xbox was a day one and finally cramped out, it game shared fine. We have spent alone
of money on games together and now I can't play any of them. Everything is set right and I've reset the Xbox 3 times and still nothing. Even did a system reset and let it download the updates again. Still nothing I don't understand why it isn't working. Please
help!

Seriously? Here's what has to happen:

1. Joe picks out a game to borrow.

2. If the publisher has flagged it as non-lendable, Joe can't use it.

3. If it is lendable, I have to take Sally off my FL.

4. I have to add Joe.

5. I have to wait 1 hour.

6. Joe can then get the game.

7. LEAVE JOE ON MY FAMILY LIST FOR AS LONG AS HE HAS THE GAME

Now for the kicker. If Sally wants to borrow a different game, now I have to:

1. Boot someone else off my FL -- which, if Joe was the 10th person I've loaned a game to I can no longer do so Sally is SOL until someone returns a game.

2. Add Sally back on the list.

3. Wait another hour.

4. Give Sally the game.

5. Sally plays.

That is simple in your world? For PS4 all I have to do is give Joe, Sally, and, if I want, every person on the planet, a PS4 game and they can play it. No questions asked. No fiddling with lists. No worrying that I'll forget
I loaned Sally a game and if I bump her off the list she can't play the game I loaned her any more.

Ummm lending on the family list doesn't require you to give anyone anything. they just access your shared drive and they can play any game.

 

What game is it mate? Might help me give you a better answer if I'm able

 

Hmmm, that is strange. I would first try deleting the installed game, and trying to reinstall it. It could just be that something went awry with the installation
