    LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Ada_UserOC Constant Game Crash


    Hi I bought a Gigabyte RTX 4080 Aero OC this March and since then I've encountered countless random crashes during gaming.

    I checked my event viewer and It shows nvlddmkm event id 0.

    Here's my hardware specs:

    CPU: 12700K with ThermalRight FrozenMagic 360 cooler

    MOBO: MSI Z690 A Pro Wifi DDR4

    RAM: ballistix 2x16g 2667mhz (XMP at 3600)

    GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4080 Aero OC

    PSU: Superflower leadex iii 850W (using three dedicated 8pin connectors for GPU)

    Here's what I've tried:

    1. DDU reinstall graphic driver Tried 546.01 (as suggested by gigabyte) & latest few

    2. Debug mode

    3. Disable XMP & turn GPU clock lower

    4. Limit 70% power percentage

    5. Reinstall Windows

    6. Reseat my GPU, reseat RAM, reseat CPU & replace thermal paste

    7. Change RAM Still got the same error.

    Tested in games including World of Tanks, civilization vi, apex legends, manor lords, and sims 4. In sims 4 it just freeze for a sec and then got back, other games just crash /not responding. I put WOT's crash report with dump file and Apex legends' HWInfo monitor log during crash at this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JpWbwt500wjGrsZYap1YSSff_WLtM0Nt?usp=sharing

    Anyone? Please help me out!

    Starfield has become unplayable, CONSTANTLY crashing

    I get constant crashing on a fresh install with a new game file and no item hording. I get constant crashing on the cloud game run on microsoft servers. this game has issues with memory management. Someone can't program malloc and free. Its bad programming and bad memory management pure and simple.

    Based on your description, I understand that you are having problems running your games, and that you are getting conflicts when you launch games that are on the E drive.

    You used Windows Defender to do a disk scan, but it didn't scan for any problems.



    I noticed that you have reinstalled Windows after wiping the disks. The disk format could also be a cause of the problem. Can you press Windows+X and select Disk Management and provide us with a screenshot?



    Do you still have any error popup messages when you start the game. If there are any popups you can provide us with, this will help us to better analyze the problem you are experiencing.



    I also noticed that your SATA storage drive is a ST1000DM010-2EP102 mechanical hard drive, please make sure that your BIOS settings are set to AHCI mode.
