Live TV; one guide, smart glass, SD TV Channels picture and audio

I have seen this one about the one guide posted before but it would be nice if the one guide didn't hide what you are watching. may be there could be an alternate view that only shows a couple of channels at a time or integrate the guide into the smart glass
app. watching sd channels are a bit problematic as the Live TV app appears to disregard you cable box settings and shrinks the display scale if left in native mode. this can be corrected by setting to stretch mode but now and then switching back to an HD channel
the HD channel wont scale back correctly and is clearly evident by the channel logo being cut off the display. Also, there doesn't appear to be a correct pass through of audio with the Live TV app as the 2-channel source audio on SD channels leaves the AV
receiver in the HDMI 5.1/7.1 uncompressed mode and audio is only sent to the front left/right speakers creating an under water effect. This also occurs on the Bluray app and the Xbox video app with content that has source 2.0 Stereo Channel audio. On the XBOX
360 Xbox video the source content will switch the AV receiver to 2.0 Dolby Stereo when outputting the stereo content. I have found a work around for this but it would be nice if it were only a temporary workaround and that is to hook up an optical cable from
xb1 to receiver and switch my receiver audio to optical/coax mode when watching content with 2.0 Stereo Audio (Xbox Video The Walking Dead) Correcting these issues would be much appreciated.

Like Puppy said, you can change the settings in the tv and one guide area to hide the duplicate SD channels.

 

Black Screen on Live TV

I have been having this same issue for weeks now.

U-Verse DVR.

Here's my workaround, which seems to work to get TV to display:

Hit Ok on my remote to make sure the DVR is awake.

Hit exit on the remote a few times to make sure the DVR is displaying Live TV.

Manually go to what I KNOW is an HD channel, since SD channels always cause the Xbox One to quit displaying live TV.

Then I just hit channel up once or twice and after 20 seconds or so, I'll hear audio and then picture will show up a few seconds later.
