Live TV Lag/Skipping

I am yet to really enjoy and use the TV functionality with my Xbox One since the console launched because it just doesn't work properly for me. I set it all up and programmed to correctly. It displays the TV and you are able to watch programs. My problem
is every 30 seconds or so the program will freeze/lag/skip for a second than go back to normal...than do it again, and repeat. It's highly annoying, so much so that I don't even have it connected anymore because I can't figure out what the deal is. Is this
normal? Has this been addressed before? I would like to use my Xbox One at it's full capability, any help or answers are appreciated.

Weirdest consistent lag I've ever dealt with

last 2 days I get freezing in games...lag..skipping..its a mess.

Controller lag/skipping

OK the issue I'm having is when I'm scrolling threw my dashboard or trying to type a message I'll push a direction on my dpad and it'll jump 2-4 spaces in that direction I've tried a hard rest updating everything still keeps doing it any help?

I resolved my issue. Ending up calling Xbox Support and we determined it was my cable box (Scientific Atlanta) that was the problem. Box was old, about 4 years old to be exact. I called up my cable company and swapped the box out for a newer Samsung model
and I am having no issues with Live TV now.

Take the battery out of your controller and unplug it from the console for 5 minutes. Then replace the batteries with new batteries and test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

No. Also electronics are made to be disposable in today's age. The age of the NES/SNES, electronics were made to last.

Well waited a bit and tried it again, its working smooth. But that was odd that it kept doing that for a while, hope it doesn't happen again. Anyone else ever notice that?

The only way to "fix" it is to remove the xbox one from the setup. This issue is being experienced by a lot of users and ever since the NXOE hit in November 2015.
