    I have Time Warner Cable. I LOVE the "watch TV" feature of XBOX One and being able to go from TV to Netflix to Hulu to whatever as I want. However, my cable box and XBOX would not talk with each other like they used to. I can watch about 15-20 seconds (it
    fluctuates) before it stutters, the cable box changes resolutions and stretches and bends the picture and finally it moves along, picking up a few seconds later after where it was.

    Essentially, it's made watching live TV unwatchable.

    I used to have this issue, but unplugging the XBOX would help and letting it sit unplugged for a little while helped. But no restarting or rebooting of either cable or xbox helped.

    I just went and traded in my DVR cable box for a new one and low and behold -- same issues. Except it's even more unwatchable now and now, the cable box will crash and reboot while connected to the XBOX.

    Checking my HDMI cable set up is the next thing, but cable box directly in the TV is perfect.

    I really want to watch TV on my XBOX. What else should I/can I try?

    Live TV video stuttering

    hey,

    the live TV picture from my SKY 2TB box stutters the video when watching only through the Xbox One, the sound is fine, on panning shots and especially watching sport the video stutters which is really annoying when watching TV,

    i have tried changing the HDMI cables, bought a new premium 1.4 cable and and it still stutters, i've changed video settings on my SKY box, changed down to 720p and back up and still no luck, i've power cycled the Xbox dont know whats going wrong here tried
    so many solutions but no joy

    TV Signal Freezes

    Same issue here. Freezes every so often for a couple seconds and then jumps back to resuming live TV. I have Time Warner Cable with Scientific Atlanta 8300HD box. Currently, TV is pretty unwatchable.

    XB1 doesn't play nice with my cable box (Samsung SMTH3270)

    I'm having the exact same issue. Time Warner is the provider and the cable box is Scientific Atlanta. Initially it works but after a while it causes the cable box to freeze and stutter. I can see the box shuffling through resolution outputs for some reason,
    it starts jumping from 480 to 1080. I had thought it occurred when the cable box went to "sleep" but I turned that off days ago and the problem persists. Unfortunately I've had to resort to unplugging the cable from the One and abounding the live TV features.

    Definitely an issue with the XB1. I'm having the same issues as all the posters (constant freezing/stuttering) if I plug my cable box into my XB1 and use the TV app. If I connect my cable box directly to the TV, it runs fine.

    Let me start tried hooking up the TV part to the XB1, I plugged the Motorola DCH-6200 Cable Box into XB1 in and the XB1 back into out into my Yamaha RX-V765 Receiver and my receiver has the other HDMI cable running to the TV. When I tried it the Cable Guide
    came up, could here the sound but it was stuttering and there was no picture. After two hours with MS stated it was the cable box. Spoke with Bright House cable department and stated I had there newest cable box & firmware update that I need to contact MS
    again. Any help would be appreciated.
