    Live TV Image Freezes after Game Play - "Lost TV Signal"


    Recently it has gotten really bad, where the Xbox One will freeze the TV image (often looking like color streaks down the TV screen) when switching back to LIVE TV after playing a game. Then, the Xbox tries to re-sync with the Cable Box HDMI signal and switches
    back and forth between the frozen, streaked, image and then showing the screen that it has lost the TV Signal.

    Resetting the Cable Box does not solve the problem. I have changed out the HDMI cables several times with no effect on the issue. The only way to resolve this problem is to reset the Xbox One which causes everyone to log back in again. It has never happened
    after watching a movie, it is only after playing games does the LIVE TV 'sync' error happen. The Xbox really started having this problem after the latest update; before that update, it rarely happened.

    Here is my system connections: Charter Cable - Xbox One - Pioneer A/V HDMI Surround Sound - Samsung LED TV

    Can someone from Xbox please try and determine why the "HDMI Sync" cannot be found after switching to LIVE TV from Xbox game play?

    My Uverse is not playing correctly on my xbox one

    Hi,

    I noticed that when I plug my uverse receiver to the xbox one I get just still images( like 1 every 45 seconds). It use to play it very smootly but now is unwatchable, after a bit I get the message "Sorry we lost the TV signal" . When I connect the Uverse
    receiver directly to the TV it plays just fine. I already restarted both the tv guide and the xbox and nothing.

    TV Freezing

    Same issue as other. Fios tv freezes, move off xbox one to separate Fios is fine. Tried other HDMI Cables still the same problem. no tv pr freezes with xbox one and cable box in the loop. This problem seemed to have escalated today. I do get a message saying
    xbox one lost the tv signal. Don't believe this is a tv issue. this is an issue with xbox one and not seeing the input of signal from fios box.

    Can't play any movies or apps

    Do you route your Xbox 360 TV signal through a PC or game capture device before it gets to your TV?

    I know this can cause issues with disc based movies.

    Does the whole console freeze? Do you hear the audio playing and just get a static image or is it as if someone pressed pause on the video?

    Xbox one and Denon AVR-791 no audio/image

    After one day of having the xbox one hooked up to get the cable box hdmi signal from my Yamaha RX-V665 receiver, the cable box seemed to be overheating (presumably from Xbox pulling video constantly / polling the tv guide). The issues seen are the xbox displays
    "We lost your TV signal, make sure your cable or satellite box is on and plugged in to the xbox" randomly while watching TV, at which time the display on the cable box shows "DUI (download user interface) as if it has just been restarted. Tested using through
    receiver and directly connected to cable box with the same results, TV freezes and signal is lost often within moments randomly. Immediately after having the issue I can hook the cable box up directly to the TV at which time the TV signal works flawlessly.
    Therefore the issue has to do with how the xbox one is utilizing the HDMI signal to and from the cable box. The cable box has never exhibited these issues before and doesn't have them when not connected to the xbox.

    3d blu ray problems

    My TV does the same. Starts the disc and plays all the 2d content, then when the 3d signal kicks in the TV loses the signal. If however I unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in again, the 3d image is displayed on the TV.

    My TV is the LG OLED55E6T TV (firmware version 05.30.15

    Xbox One TV and Xfinity X1

    Mine worked beautifully... never lost TV signal and never had any trouble. After this last monthly update, it's the exact opposite. Nothing but problems and never loads up TV properly. I got tired of constantly going through TV setup just to get the signal
    back. (using Xfinity also)

    July update completely broke quality of live tv experience

    Hi misses, I am persistent to find a resolution for the lost TV signal. To make it very clear the issue is that when the system starts and you lunch tv I receive " lost tv signal" then after about 10 seconds the screen shows and then I do not have any issues.
    I tried direct TV reboot feature with the September update but again same issue the Tv app launches directly and I receive " lost TV signal" for 19 sec that things go fine. Again, I never faced this issue not even one before July update. Awaiting your response
    because I am not seeing any progress on this or updates from your side..... We need to know what's going on
