Discus and support live subscription cards in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; can anyone help with getting an issue with a live code resolved??     XBOX Live Gift Cards

    Hi All,

    Forgive my ignorance, but my wife just bought $60 gift cards that certainly appear to be for a 12 month XBOX Live Gold Subscription.

    Our intent was to buy gift cards for my nephews that they can spend whatever they want.

    Do the gift cards have to be spent on the Gold subscription, or can they be spent elsewhere?

    On Xbox 360 is Xbox live. It activates itself and the method of payment with credit card. But the card that was attached is no longer valid. I have money put on a single MS account, but I can't, the money did pay for a subscription to Xbox live. To stop
    the subscription does not work, as it is already activated itself in advance from the card. How to pay for a subscription to Xbox live without a credit card???

    No,you can't.

    You would need a xbox live subscription card for 1,3 or 12 months or you can pay by credit/debit card or paypal.

    Currency cards can't be used to pay for a xbox live gold subscription.

    You have never been able to use gift cards/account funds to buy a xbox live gold subscription.

    They are used to buy digital content,games,dlc,movies etc.

    You need an actual xbox live subscription card,a credit/debit card or paypal account to buy a gold subscription.

    Gift cards do not work for Xbox Live, you need to buy an Xbox Live pre paid subscription card.
