Live Communication Error

Every time I try to play Call of Duty, I get an error stating live server interrupted code:ceres. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using Xbox Series S. I'm seeing the message on the main screen. There's another message in the upper right hand corner stating I need an update too.

First, welcome to the Xbox community. Could you tell if this problem is happening in Call of Duty Warzone or in another title of the franchise?

Anyway, I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

Solution 1:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

After removing the account follow the procedure below.

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Now add your account again.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button.

Open Settings.

Go to Network and select Network settings.

Select Advanced settings.

Select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Select Restart.

Solution 3:

Go to your games and apps

Look for the game that has problems

Click on it with the control's MENU button

Click manage add-ons

Go to Saved Data

Your saved data is the first file in your Gamertag

Click on it

Tap delete from console only

If there is a second file named placeholder delete it too.

Have you checked your network settings on the console to make sure your NAT type is set to open?

Please try powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. If that doesn't help then try deleting then redownloading the game.

I'm not seeing a support site with the developer or publisher (or even who they are), to see the status of the multiplayer servers, if there might be a public issue, and not an issue specific to you.

Since that's the case, I'd have to say we should check your console in Settings > Network > Network Settings and run a Network Test and a Multiplayer Test and see what those results are. Let us know, and that can help us decide what the next best troubleshooting
steps are.
