Linux 8 Smartglass no button to stream

I received the Linux on 20th of November 2018 I have set it up to stream from my Xbox 1X I seem to have control on the SmartGlass it finds my Xbox and can connect to it and I can switch the Xbox off and on by using the SmartGlass app on the linux tablet
my issue is there is no streaming button to allow me to stream my game onto the tablet I found some information regarding Media packs to which I've downloaded updated etc but still no joy 4 hours last night attempting in Vain watching YouTube videos I'm so
disappointed that this Windows 10 program isn't allowing me to do the simple thing of wanting to stream a game hence the purchase of this gaming tablet any help will be greatly appreciated

How do I stream TV from Xbox One to Smartglass Beta?

I read that the update to the latest Smartglass app for Windows Phone 8 should enable the live-streaming of TV from my Xbox to my device. I can't find the correct settings in the Smartglass app itself.

Any pointers?

Wont connect to my Xbox. then I signed out and now I cant access Smartglass on my Android device. I got a captcha and i keep entering it correctly and it says I entered it wrong. I think its Microsoft blocking out Linux devices because Linux is a threat.
Whats next? I cant access Skydrive on my Android? I cant access Skydrive or Hotmail on my Linux computer? This needs to stop Microsoft is blocking Linux this isnt the first problem i had accessing Microsoft services on Linux devices. My friend's Android wont
connect either.

If so, you don't use Smartglass to stream your console to this small Windows Tablet, instead you need to use the Windows 10 Xbox App. This App should already be pre-installed on your device.

 

Yes it is but comes with xbox style controllers on either side of the tablet. The xbox app that was pre intsalled is very simlar to the smart glass app but looking at videos of this tablet streaming there seems to be a tab within the xbox app that says game
streaming ,but my app has no such thing ,its like its missing this single tab hence stopping me from doing what i bought it for. Thanks for replying

Are you signed in on the Xbox App for Windows 10? Is your console on the same Network as your tablet?

There shouldn't be any hardware issues streaming to the Linx tablet. I used to own the Linx 10 and it worked fine. My young nephew had a Linx 8 with the controllers and it worked too.

 

I finally did it the tablet decided to tell me that there was a Windows 10 update took about an hour to process and once done the Xbox app has also updated itself and gave me the streaming button thank you very much for all your input much appreciated
