Linksys: Streaming problems

Router: Linksys Wireless G WRT54G Modem: ARRIS TM902A (New, provided by Charter Cable)

I do not use any apps on the xbox for video, problem is simply streaming videos off from XBox Live (game trailers, interviews, E3 videos, etc...)

Hello there I actually just replied to someone else's post with the same issue with the same router. I use the EA7500 in my house as well and had the same issue. What I found was that the issue was actually with a firmware update from Linksys. For some reason,
I'm not sure why, it made it incompatible with my Xbox. So I simply reverted to a previous version of the router's firmware and the issue was resolved. However, I'm not sure as to whether or not Microsoft or Linksys have resolved this compatibility issue,
and I have yet to update my router's firmware out of fear that my Xbox won't be able to connect to my wifi again.

Yup exactly. Except lets plug the rocket fish device directly to your Arris cable modem instead of the Linksys. If this setup works we will know that the problem exist with the Linksys. I ask for the Connection status report because it may help us figure
out what might be incorrect with the Linksys device if that happens to be the problem.

Its the modem thats the problem. Reset your modem.

Sometimes if you have cable internet, the company will send both cable TV channels and internet even if you did not order cable TV. That will confuse routers and modems. Call your internet provider and they will come and install something called a splitter.

Hey Sim Have you tried restarting the modem as well? Also, are you able to connect right after the disconnection by testing your network connection? (Guide/Far Right Blade/System Settings/Network Settings/Test Connection to LIVE)
