    Chose EA6500 because the &%)) is not available on the website to choose. How is it possible that this is the 7th post about the Linksys EA7500 router and Support can't tell anyone why the xbox one won't connect?

    Login Information



    Username - admin

    Password - admin

    Gateway - 192.168.1.1

    MAC Filtering

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.1.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
    3. When prompted, enter in "admin" for the user name and "admin" for the password.

      *Note* If Cisco Connect was used to configure the router then the password will be your wireless password.
    4. Select Wireless from the menu on the left.
    5. Select the MAC Filtering tab on the top.
    6. Uncheck the MAC Filters box.
    7. Select Apply.

    Having the exact same problem, were you able to figure this issue out? New router, everything else in the house connects expect my Xbox one.

    Ha d the exact same issue with the same router. I found out that Linksys released a firmware update that, for some reason, made it incompatible with the Xbox. I reverted to a previous firmware version on the router, and the issue was solved. However, I'm
    not sure as to whether or not Microsoft or Linksys has resolved this compatibility issue.

    Hello there I actually just replied to someone else's post with the same issue with the same router. I use the EA7500 in my house as well and had the same issue. What I found was that the issue was actually with a firmware update from Linksys. For some reason,
    I'm not sure why, it made it incompatible with my Xbox. So I simply reverted to a previous version of the router's firmware and the issue was resolved. However, I'm not sure as to whether or not Microsoft or Linksys have resolved this compatibility issue,
    and I have yet to update my router's firmware out of fear that my Xbox won't be able to connect to my wifi again.

    @TTheinfamous1- I am now running the new Netgear Nighthawk R7000 as of last month- before that the Linksys EA6500 router. No problems with either - just using UpNP.
