    *Note* If Cisco Connect was used to configure the router then there are several other options for logging in.

    One method is to use Cisco Connect again. Once the program has started click "Router Settings". Your network name and password are listed on the right. From here you can update this information should you choose.

    Second method is from within Cisco Connect Choose router settings and then from the right column choose advanced and follow the on screen instructions to get to the web based interface.

    Connecting to Actiontec V1000H

    My current workaround is to bring out my old Linksys WRT160N as an AP, the xbox connected with the WRT160N with zero issues. I just don't understand why it will not connect with the Actiontec. Is it a known issue with Xbox and Actiontec modems?

    Dump linksys, i had same issues you are and i had linksys wrt600n, couldnt get it to work, switch to a netgear 600n dual band router 99.99 worth every penny in gold. Linksys doesnt catter to gamers and you will not be able to fix becaue of how linksys does
    its firmware, you can call xboxlive and speak with network tech, they can also access your router and make adjustments if needed, But im telling you now linksys used to be my favorite, now after going through what i went through trying to get 3 xboxes to work
    no way, netgera, it is also known as the netgear wndr3700v4, best router out there for the price has been confirmed 4 xboxes all running same time no issues.

    Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your modem. The Linksys WRT 160N is a stand alone router which needs to connect to a Cable/DSL modem which in return connects to the WAN.

    Visit Linksys webpage and make sure your router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware.

    Some models of Linksys routers are known to cause issues to NAT traversal with the feature Filter Anonymous Internet Requests turned on. Make sure this feature is turned off.

    Ensure that you router has UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) enabled.
