    Change Wireless Channel　

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
    3. When prompted to login, leave the user name blank and type in “admin” for the password.
    4. Select "Wireless" from the menu at the top.
    5. Select "Basic Wireless Settings" from the sub menu.
    6. Select the desired wireless channel from the "Wireless Channel" drop down menu.
    7. Select Save Settings.

    Disconnected From Network, Solutions? Being Host then Migrated? HELP!!!

    I suggest that you try changing the channel of your router if possible (not all routers have the ability to change channels that they broadcast on). This is going off of you actually using wireless internet and not using wired. If you have another router
    available or to try out I suggest doing that as well, maybe one with a better signal strength, you can stick with Netgear or any other router manufacturer like D-Link, Linksys, etc.

    Do you have a personal firewall installed on your computer?

    Make sure your router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware. Visit Linksys website and see if there is a later version available than the current one.

    Could you try change your wireless channel manually to 11.

    Change Wireless Channel

    1. Connect a computer to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser on a computer.
    3. Type the address 192.168.254.254 into the web address bar.
    4. This will take you to a login page, type admin for the “Password”.
    5. Once logged in select the General Settings on the left side.
    6. Select the WLAN option on the middle page.
    7. Select the Channel you wish to use.
