    Linksys (Modems/Gateways): Can't connect 360 to internet, issue in actual xbox console
    My internet provider is telling my modem is connecting to the xbox 360 console, or detecting the connect, but my xbox says it can't find the network. So essentially, the issue appears to be in my console. I don't see any support for that. Is there a
    place to take it to get it looked at?

    XBox rendered useless after 1.5hrs with support -- 0x80a40019

    Unfortunately I can't do that. My TV cables/lines are not the same as internet lines coming in, so the router is in a different room than the TV and cannot be relocated. What if I plugged the linksys back in directly to the Arris and used the wifi network
    from the Linksys vs the Arris? I believe that may have been how it was setup previously (the Linksys was running a separate wifi network) but will need to double check.

    Also, do you think this is the cause of my issues? I was under the impression it was more along the lines of bugs and issues with xbox, xbox live, and halo rather than internet connectivity issues. Previously with the same internet setup this was working
    (at least to a degree), and actual connectivity to the internet has been probably the only thing that hasn't been an issue.

    Two Problems

    It seems that I'm having the two problems but I can't figure out how to get past both.

    My Modem is: Motorola Netopia 2247-62 software 7.8.4r18

    My router is: Cisco Linksys E1000

    My internet is connected to the Motorola which has a cord from its LAN ports to the ethernet port in the Linksys which connects to my xbox 360 using N wireless.

    Problem one: I can connect to internet if I'm connect to Linksys but I can't get an open NAT at all. (Double NAT possible problem?)

    Problem two: If i connect to the Netopia, I can't connect to xbox live which makes no sense since I can connect when using the linksys.

    I've been having the same issue. I put a password on my network so no one could be stealing my wifi and now I can't get connected to my router! I have a Linksys, is that what you have too? Maybe it's a Linksys network issue between xbox 360 and that brand

    Profile Download Error - Backwards Compatible Games

    Completed the survery and cleared Local xbox 360 storage.

    The error message says "Can't Connect" in the topbar and "Can't connect to Xbox Live. Select test connection to troubleshoot your connection" in the body of the popup.

    ISP: Charter

    Router: Linksys E1500 Wireless Router

    Modem: Motorola SURFboard SB6121

    Nat Type: Open

    Issue still persists with wired connection and wireless.

    Moderate NAT Type and network behind a upnp port restricted nat

    Do you have the option to bypass the Linksys and connect your Xbox directly into the Ubee device?

    Do have more than one Xbox console connected to the same router/NAT Internet connection?

    Remove the port forwarding rule that you configured and make sure UPnP is ticked enable and reboot the Linksys.
