Linking Xbox Live with other gaming platform

I dont know if this is the right place to post this, i appologize if thats not the case. My question is if it is posible to invite friends that plays on a XBOX from lets say my Origin account? Would it be posible for the two accounts to play together or
vs one another? For example on FIFA14?

Cross platform play apparently coming

cross play with the state of xbox live and it's performance lately, if i was Sony i would not let Live anywhere near other platforms online. Bad enough we can't get a stable gaming environment.

Hi! If you don't prefer to communicate with others in a civilized way, Xbox probably isn't the best platform and you might enjoy your gaming experience more if you play on platforms with other like-minded people.

I don't think it's possible. Isn't origin just for PC or am I wrong on that? If it's just PC there's no connectivity between the two, so I'd say no. But I may be wrong.

This has not been fixed and is still an ongoing issue.

As per your previous suggestion - I have tried multiple times to get in touch with the Support team.

However, neither the call nor chat resolved my issue.
