Linking Xbox Account with Call of Duty problem

We understand that you wanted to unlink your Xbox account to an old Call of Duty account. As per description, you were not able to receive verification code as it was being sent to the old email address linked to your account. Let us check on this together and sort this out. We will assist you with your concern.

Here is the procedure on how to unlink Xbox account from Call of Duty. Kindly check if you did the same steps when you unlink your account?

1. Navigate to the Activision website using the browser.
   
2. Click on LOGIN.
   
3. Enter the login credentials and click on SIGN IN.
   
4. Click on the profile name > LINKED ACCOUNTS. 5. From the options, click on Unlink beside the Xbox option.
   

It is possible for you to use the wrong account during Battle. Open Activision Account Setup and select the Accounts link with this ID, then click Unlink it when the link is clicked.

If still unlinking does not effect, call Activision Support. Activision Support

Remember that Call of Duty Classic can only be used on Xbox 360. If the links I gave you indicate that the game is not available, there may be a problem using them in your region.

That is odd. Your multiplayer ranking is stored on the Activision servers. Maybe you lost your Xbox Live link with your Activision account. Go to
https://callofduty.com and check your account.

And right now Xbox Live is showing a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare outage that may be the problem.

But aint my online rank for call of duty linked to my gamertag and my xbox live account which i can use on both consoles
