Linking my old xbox account to my new email??

Hey, i stopped playing xbox just before xbox one came out, my account has my old email address and i would like to link it with my new email.

Since i've made a new microsoft account with my new email, is there any way to link my old xbox account to my new microsoft account?

You will need to change the email address on the old account to your new email address and to do that you will have to remove it from the new account.

There is no way to directly link 2 Xbox Live gamertag's information together. Even if you link the 2 email addresses, they will still have 2 separate gametags since they were made independently of each other. You will have to either gain access to your
old account or stick with your new one.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this question. In regard to linking or merging both your old account with your new account, there is currently no way to do so as per our

Microsoft Account on the Xbox console FAQ. However, if you'd like to be able to play your older games from that account via your new profile, you can always designate your old profile as your Home Console profile to share the games.

If you're solely interested in changing your email for logging in, then as our Ambassador recommended you can choose to change
the email address associated with your Microsoft account. Please note that you should not delete the original email address from your older account but keep it on as a verification method since its removal could trigger you no longer receiving notifications,
correspondence, etc. from that particular account.

well I remembered my password but it is still linked to my old email address... but the new email address is linked to the BeastlierBeef5 account ? My new email account was put in via my xbox so maybe that's where the problem lies. I now seem to have
2 accounts. This one with the wrong email address... and the one above with my current email address but no links to my games or achievements....

I cant verify my email or get into my old email so was needing to be linked to my new email account thatbi can get into, so won't be using the old email again.

How do I go about this?
