Linked my original mojang account to my microsoft email years ago and have just come back...

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft account. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

Your Minecraft account must have migrated to the original Microsoft account email address where it was first created.

In order to play in Minecraft, you will need to find the Microsoft account where your Minecraft account was migrated. Kindly sign in to all of your Microsoft email accounts on account.microsoft.com > then go to Payment and Billing > Order History.

From there, check if you have any Minecraft transactions (Minecraft order number). If you have found the transactions, use the same Microsoft account to log in to Minecraft Launcher.

Hi Darhyl, so this isn't the problem im having. What my problem is, is the mojang account i linked to my microsoft account has basically vanished. So i have access to the microsoft account which i migrated too. however the mojang account "Jamesy03" isn't on my microsoft account which i transfered it too. So it's as if my java account was just reset as my new java name is jamesy033 but im trying to get access to my original and i dont understand why its not linked to my microsoft account. There is java edition on the microsoft account which means i must have migrated too it but its not the correct username. This is the account i want back https://namemc.com/profile/Jamesy03.1

So , i have their same problem. Afyer migrating my mojang account to microsoft i cant find my bought minecraft anymore but i bought many years ago with my mojang account (java edition , i also have the email confirmation of the redemption of the gift card) . After contacting mojang they all lead me here to microsoft support

The thing is years ago Mojang used your user name but at some point, I was switched to my email. So for years I have been logging in with my email but all of a sudden when I used my Microsoft account it logs me in but not into the right account. Not the one I paid for.

A while ago I had my old Minecraft Account stolen, and I've been trying to get it back. I emailed Mojang but just saw that they will not help with account-related issues anymore... bummer. Anyway I've been hoping to find some way to recover this account (if that's even possible at this point), and I've been directed here. I have all the information relating to my original account and I just want some answers. Thank you!

If someone else migrated your minecraft from your Mojang account to their own Microsoft account then I'm afraid there wont be any way to get it back.
