    Linked device not allowing me to download game.


    I am attempting to download a game i own on xbox on my pc. However, when I attempt to install the game it says "it looks like you don't have and applicable devices linked to your microsoft account. To install, sign in on a device with your Microsoft account." The problem is I have the device linked but it won't allow me to download said game for some reason. What should I do?

    Hi ToriMeyers, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Just a friendly reminder though that not all games that we have on Xbox can be played or installed on our PC. The game needs to be an Xbox Play Anywhere.

    Yes I did. There is also the option on the games page to install the game. If I follow the link it tells me there is no device on which to download.

    Yeah, seeing as all of the purchases are linked to our CoD Accounts, it should have allowed me to download the DLC for free on both consoles. It was waiting to be downloaded in My Games & Apps on the Xbox One but it tries to charge me for the 360 version.

    are you using actual hard drives or are you using flash drives as flash drives are not counted as hard drives you need to have the 250 or 320 gig hard drive if you are using a slim or a 20, 60, 120, or 250 if you are using the older 360. for future reference
