    While that will prevent the child from accessing the console without permission, it does not deal with the issue of limiting how much time the OP's child can have that acess when granted.

    Limiting volume for child

    When you connect the headset into the controller, press the glowing Xbox button on the controller, navigate to the "System" tab on the right, and select "Audio".

    In the Audio settings, you can adjust the headset volume.

    If you connect an NTFS volume to a 360, it won't know what to do with it. It will offer to format it as one gigantic FAT32 volume. Onto this volume it then places a set of files that serve as the MU. The usable space on those files is up to 32GB.

    You can set these limits by creating a child account for the person you're setting limits for. Set up a family account and link the child to it.

    No you cannot set limits on a parent account as it is an adult account. you cannot change an adult account to a child account either. Any limit you set will have to be a physical limit you cannot use anything software wise since they are an adult.

    Always recommend starting a child off as a child account.
