Limit on gift cards

Hi everyone,

I have an issue regarding gift cards. Obviously i cant redeem any further cards due to me reaching a limit. My question is how long do i have to wait before its reset or is there a way i can contact some type of support at microsoft to give me assistance.
To date i have tried contacting support to no avail. Very frustrated. It has been 4 days with the same message

"First, spend a little"

:)

There is no limit to how many times something can be redeemed (Gift card wise), so you should be able to get two $10 gift cards.

Thanks for the reply it was genuinely appreciated. However this does not help as there are no funds currently on my account hence why i wanted to top it up with the gift card. So im still stumped by the error message. How am i supposed to spend a little
when there is nothing on the account!

Hi there!

Here's a link to a support article to help with your issue, put simply, you have reached the maximum amount of money on your Microsoft
account, you need to use the money before redeeming more gift cards.

I hope this helps!

I used four gift cards with a three-month limit

I generally use a visa "gift card" limited use credit card myself.
