Life is Strange Episode 5 download problem

I am in Australia and Life is Strange Ep 5 has been available for a day. I can download 38% but then 'Installation Stopped'. I have tried restarting the console, deleting and downloading again, installing to a different hard drive etc. I also have just
setup a new Halo 5 XboxOne console and the same exact issue happens with that - 38% and then download stops. Is anyone else having this issue?

purchased episode 1 of life is strange and the season pass (episodes 2-5) wherever i try to download episode 2 from the store or in game it tries to charge me ? HALP

My problem with the final episode was that stealth segment which I doubt had anything to do with budget

 

I'm having the same issue but with 35%

I've tried seven or so times, restarted the console a bunch, and reinstalled the entire game, all with no luck

 

I'm in Aus too and have looked everywhere for a fix or anything, and all I've gotten is it's an xbox live issue. That's not good enough! I've tried much the same and no luck, I've even tried resetting my internet and switching the wifi on and off again,
and still nothing!

 

Hey guys. I'm not sure if it will help, but sometimes when a download gets stuck, you can cancel the download, go to Settings, Power, Turn Xbox off, and unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.

 

Yeah tried that several times and like I said above it does the same on a new xbox one console out-of-the-box. It appears to be a problem with the local Australian Microsoft servers.

 

Had the same issue but 38%, tried all the typical stuff - hard reset, re-install of all episodes, installing to internal/external drive etc all had no effect.

Managed to get around the problem by temporarily setting my xbox to use the DNS server of 8.8.8.8 (google) instead of my router, resumed the download that was stuck at 38%, once it progressed to about 45% i then changed DNS back to auto/default and the download
completed fine.

Smells like a CDN/cache issue not far upstream as the DNS change essentially makes it download a different source.

 

You don't happen to be on iiNet Freezone for XBLive do you? Might be an issue with their cache copy, or whatever server they point to.

 

Just did what Sirtra suggested with the DNS server and it worked perfectly

Changed it for ten percent or so then switched back

I'm on iiNet freezone Strud

 

I tried the Google DNS servers with no luck but it did work with OpenDNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220).

Some issue with Freezone cache copy it seems.

Thought I was the only one. Mine gets stuck on 36% (having issues with Halo MCC update also)

I also on iinet, in Aust. Coincidence? Doubt it.
