Discus and support License transfer early? (2 bad xbox's) in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I know you usually have to wait 4 months between license transfers, but is there any way to do it earlier when it's due to bad equipment?     I know you usually have to wait 4 months between license transfers, but is there any way to do it earlier when it's due to bad equipment? Our old 360 (2006 "Xenon") died a few months ago, so I got a refurb off ebay and transferred my license. THAT 360 lasted
    a month License transfer early? (2 bad xbox's) :( (they were awesome and refunded me tho) So now I have a new 500GB 360 (E) and can't transfer. Am I essentially out of luck until January? Thanks to anyone for their input!!

    So I don't have any more license transfer's because I used them on other xbox's but i recently got a new xbox but i can't transfer anything. Would Microsoft give me the option to transfer licenses one more time so i could get all my content on my new xbox?

    Not at all. Please give phone support a call and let them know what happened. They can initiate a manual transfer on your behalf.

    Very confusing and possibly uneeded.

    Link was bad, sorry.

    Here are the steps.

    1.On your console, sign in to Xbox LIVE using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.

    2.Go to Settings and select Account.

    3.Go to Your Billing Options and select License Transfer.

    4.Follow any further instructions to transfer the content licenses.

    It's really that simple.

    You can't lose your account for doing a license transfer.

    A license transfer doesn't do anything bad. Like I said above, it just transfer your content licenses to the console you did the license transfer on. If he did the license transfer on the same console you use anyway, then it won't do anything.

    Yes. The license transfer is done in 2 parts. Part 1 transfers the licenses, part 2 you have to redownload the content to resync the licenses to your console.
