License removal of xbox games

hi there, it doesnt happen very often but it does state that they can remove the license, it would generally take a big enough reason for them to do so, whether it be fraudulant activity on the users behalf, or legal issues on the developers part, but
yes you are basically taking a long term rental as such and should a reason ever be needed to then as it states the license can be revoked.

Sometimes, the license can "disapear" from your account. First, click on this link to check all your licenses:
account.xbox.com/.../MyGames

If the license is here, no problem, just remove your account from console, remove the game, and re-enter with your account again. Then, re-download the game again

If the game is not displayed in the link, you need to contact Xbox support for an investigation of a missing license in your account

Good Luck

No. Your license for the game is removed with the refund.

If they're digital games you're purchasing a license to use them, not the game themselves. If you violate Microsoft's terms, they can remove that license.
