    License problem


    So a few days ago i got a new Xbox One X. I had been playing for the last 3 years on my Xbox One

    . I wanted to transfer some of the games on my old console on to my new one by using network transfer. It took quite some time but when the games were installed i tried to launch GTA, only to be met with a message and a error code (0x803f800e). I don’t know
    where the problem lies as i have tried restarting my console and checking xbox live status

    Here is the thing.

    In my country, calling to customer service is about 2 dolars per minute, so now i don't have the money to call.

    (in this case is better and cheap to buy all the content again, because when my console "died" i called to customer service and the bill was something like 25-30 dollars)

    That's why i tried to email them, or ask here.

    Anyway, i tried to play offline, and nothing :(

    Did you re-download everything? That is required in order to refresh the license. It won't take long as it will only download the updated license if you already have the content on your hard drive.

    License problem

    There are two licences associated with all types of content: profile and console.

    The profile licence belongs to the profile that downloaded the content. This cannot be moved. With this one, only the profile that downloaded the content can play it - and only while connected to Live.

    The console licence belongs to the first console onto which the content was downloaded. This is the one that gets moved with a licence transfer, and it allows any player to play the content, whether online or offline. The transfer can only be done once per
    three month period

    This should help you determine where the console licences are (allowing everyone to play); presumably they are on the Xbox you are using (and downloading to), but not the one the family uses?
