License nightmares

We got a new console for Christmas. Now we have Xbox one X and original. My son and I would like to play Destiny 2 together, but with digital license cannot play on 2 consoles at once. Simple enough - I purchased a copy from store
as gift to his gamertag, but he can't redeem says he's too young. I had him send a request to buy it, which I have approved thinking this would fix it. He still cannot redeem and I cannot now redeem the gift I bought trying to approve his request. All this
for a game he has been playing for more months. Where I granted him always allow him to play in family settings. Please advise how to sort this and what we should do in future to prevent this.

Recovering downloaded content

Nightmare, as I am aware it will only put your license in your Active downloads. It will not download the content itself. Please correct me if I am wrong, but if he did a license transfer it would not solve it issue, it would only transfer the license, it
would not recover the actual content.

 

LIVE Arcade General Question

Hey guys,

I'm really excited about Alan Wake's American Nightmare and I'm determined to play it today. The problem is I have to go to my friend's house today and I can't get an MS points card until after I've left.

I was wondering if I download an arcade game like Alan Wake's American Nightmare to a flash drive using my friend's console, do I have to do that whole "license exchange" whatever to play it on my console? And what does the license exchange involve doing?

You put your profile on his consolw.and put a pssscode

So he can't use your profilw

Then make his your home console

But this requires your console.to be always connected to play which you have to be for destiny

He can then play it anytime on his console as long as you aren't signed in your profile can only be signed in on one place
