    Hello, I am having problems enabling 4K on my Xbox One for the past few months and I am hoping you can help.
    My setup consists of an LG OLED55C9 and an XBOX One. After purchasing the TV in March 2020, I connected it to the XBOX and it did correctly detect that a TV with advanced features is attached and offered to enable those features (4K, HDR etc.)

    After a few months, I turned on the device and I noticed the screen resolution was 640 x 480. The solution was to manually override and switch the setting under Video Fidelity > Display to HDMI. Now I am able to get up to 1080p @ 120Hz or 1440p @ 60Hz, however, none of the advanced features can be enabled (no 4K, no HDR etc.)

    I have tried all combinations of various HDMI cables and all ports combinations on the TV. They all behaved the same. I've also experimented with enabling or disabling the "HDMI Deep Color" feature and again, no results. I've performed a hard reset on the TV, also didn't help.

    I have read through every forum post and help guide related to this topic and no solution has worked. I have noticed that there are quite a few people having the same problem and I would appreciate any support I can get.

    My apologies, I forgot to mention that it is Xbox One S and as stated, I have used 4K for months before (most likely) an update changed that.

    If this is the Xbox One you have, then I'm afraid this does not support 4K or HDR, you need an Xbox One X or Xbox Series X.

    Thank you for your reply but as stated in the original post, I have went through every single step in every guide or forum post that exist online. This is most definitely a bug that cannot be solved by the user and it is most likely caused by one of the system updates released in the past year, since the system was working fine until one day. This is the same symptom that many users have reported.

    Yes, please bring Dolby Vision support to the Xbox 4k Blu-ray player! I have a vast collection of 4k Blu-Rays and a tv that supports Dolby Vision (LG C9).
