LFG Windows Game Bar not working for Diablo 4

This issue has been brought up a few time already here but haven't gotten any good traction.

I've played Diablo 4 since release up to season 2 on the Xbox. So, I know what a joy it is to be able to use LFG on the Xbox. It really makes the game a lot more enjoyable to almost always have a full group to run through content.

Now I am using a freshly build gaming PC and clean Win11 install and playing Diablo 4 Season 4. I have now gotten to the point in the game where you want to team up. To my suprise, LFG is also on Windows through the GameBar but, I am unable to create a post for Diablo 4 nor am I able to search for posts. If I try to create it just freezes and crashes. Searching for posts states there are no posts for the game.

As a test, I installed Forza, I was able to create and search for posts without any issue.

Can someone please shed some light on this? Is it a bug? Is it something I need to fix on my end? I have already tried the most basic things to do such as repair the GameBar and update all aspects of the Xbox app.

Any help is appreciated.

Also, why am i able to use LFG on the Xbox without an issue and not on PC?

Diablo4 has thier own lfg function within the battlenet app and ingame

Hi Team,

When I try to post on LFG using the XBox Game Bar, the game bar crashes.

But if I join other people's LFG, it works fine without crashing.

Help would be appreciated.

Update: I reinstalled the Xbox Game Bar (using
this article) and now it works! Thanks for all the help!

Is there anyway to use LFG in the game bar? I mostly used the companion app for the LFG function for Forza Horizon 4.

It doesn't matter if it's real world trading or not

If you posted it in the wrong channel like LFG

then you are breaking the rules

Diablo 4 has its own trading and lfg channels
