LFG not working for months now

Alright, so I've been seeing a lot of posts about not being able to make LFG posts. Well, for myself and others, there has been no suggestion that helps. I've looked through multiple posts, gone through the steps, yet time and time again, nothing works.

I thought when it first happened it was because I didn't have gold, but at the time, I had literally made a post only two days prior, with no gold or gamepass. This has been a thing for three months now. That's quite a long time for nothing to have worked by now, so what I need is a sure fire way to fix it, because at this point I'm quite seriously out of all the conventional troubleshooting methods.

It has to be a problem on Microsoft's end then, as I've had this issue for about three months now, give or take. Started on xbox one s and followed me to series s.

I haven't, because in my experience calling a number tends to leave me on the phone for hours, and well... let's say it's only as much an inconvenience as I let it be. I want it fixed, but not so bad that I'd spend time on the phone that I could be spending just playing alone. Not to mention life gets in the way so while I'd really like it fixed, I just don't have the time to wait on the phone, sadly.

This is more or less to let them know it isn't just a week long problem, some like me have had it for quite a while. I should also note that I cannot respond to posts either, I have to directly message the person for a personal invite.

Hi there Zerinix welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. In order to get Xbox LFG to work again, Microsoft recommends that players restart their consoles and then their router. Other Microsoft reps have asked for players to try logging in to their Xbox accounts again. PC players should try clearing out the cache on their system. These may seem ineffective and like the most basic steps to take during an outage, but it’s worth a shot. They are an simple things to do that could solve the problem.

If that does not work, it might be best to wait it out since it could be a problem on Microsoft’s side. The Xbox Looking For Group feature has gone down before and Microsoft has responded to such inquiries before and seeing that A LOT of users are having this issue it seems there could be an issue with the feature itself!

Another thing that should help is opening ports! Give it a try!
