LET'S DISCUSS GRIEFING!

Its unfortunate when these things happen. The best thing you can do or anyone for that matter is mute/block and report. Ive had to do this a bit when dealing with trolls in the community making the game not fun for myself and others.

I havent really ran into this since back in the 360 days. MS has done a great job cleaning up xbox live

I’ve never found myself a victim of trolling or griefing usually because the moment i find myself in a game with a player i would consider a griefer i remove myself from the game and avoid them as a player.

If i come across a player who does this I just block and report them

I experience griefing on GTA all the time. A lot of the fun of the game is taking out other players, but some of those Oppressor owners just wipe the lobby repeatedly!

If I'm feeling up to it and another group of players wants to go up against each other, it's a lot of fun. But some days, I'll just leave the lobby when I'm trying to make $$ and don't want to be exploded while doing so! I typically will report someone if
they're consistently killing players who can't or don't fight back, because that's just mean. The game encourages a level of griefing, but one-sided attacks ruins the fun and tips towards violating the CoC. I don't report often, though. I'm very forgiving
and can always just remove myself from the game.

Some of my best GTA buddies were befriended when blasting each other into oblivion. Wreaking mutual havoc on each other can be a good time, if both parties are up for a fight.

As for griefing in games where that's not encouraged? I just leave. Nobody has time for a troll
