    Let players add a personal motto or status to their Xbox profile


    It would be awesome to have a custom motto, slogan, or short status line visible on our Xbox profiles — similar to what Xbox 360 had back in the day.

    Suggestions: – Add a "Motto" or "Status" field under the profile name – Limit it to 100 characters and allow emojis or game references – Let players update it from console, Xbox app, or web – Option to show it publicly or only to friends

    This would bring back a nostalgic feature from Xbox 360 and give players more ways to express themselves — whether it’s a quote, mood, or inside joke.

    Hi there,

    Can I suggest that you have two players logged in and try this again?

    If the second person has set up Kinect and their user profile should be signed in automatically. If they have not yet downloaded their profile to the Xbox, they can do so by doing the following:

    • Pressing the Xbox Logo on the controller
    • Pressing Up to get to the profile icon in the upper left
    • Press A, choose Add New.
    • Sign in with Microsoft Account and password, set up Kinect
    If the second person does not have an account, or does not want to download their profile, instead of choosing 'Add New' choose 'Add a Guest'.

    • Once the second player is signed in too, go back to Forza 5 and try to start the splitscreen game again.

    Changing country to something else?

    ^^^^ If you bring up the guide button, then go to friends, then recently played and select a person, you can see their profile. The top line will be their country, but sometimes it says something else, which i am assuming is their motto and instead of displaying
    both, the motto overwrites the country.

    Yeah, it seems to be working now.. the night I created the account it wouldn't let me add "Oh, sweetie!" as a motto. Weird.
