let me change my pin

put a *Mod Removed* way to change my account pin, on the *Mod Removed* website. why the
*Mod Removed* do i have to go downstairs and do a 4g update on my console to open the god damn xbox app on my pc, just because i forgot the pin? jesus this
*Mod Removed* is why i haven't logged on for 3 years, and forgot it in the first place.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having trouble with resetting your pin. Are you referring to the Passkey? If so, you can incorrectly input the code a few times and it will eventually ask you for the
Microsoft Account Password. Let us know with a reply if the issue persists.

It is not letting me change the pin... If I try to close it it keeps popping back up...

Followed instraction, nothing changed, made a new local administrator in my PC, still nothing happened. Used the PIN from my new administrator to log in Minecraft, said it was wrong so I guess it needs the PIN from the administrator I use, and I won't change where I play the game so I CAN play it.

So the problem consists, how do I set my windows hello PIN when it says it's currently unavailable OR how do just not use PIN to access the game. I know the PC password obviously, it won't let me use that as a choice

It's rediculous that I have to go through all this for a game I paid and played since 1.7. All this safety measures for what? Not letting a stranger play my minecraft but also not letting me either...

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the PIN feature.

May I ask if you have already tried changing your account's security preferences? like this:

- Sign in to the parent account
- Go to Settings > Account > Sign in, Security and PIN > Change my sign-in & Security preferences.

A) If you select "Ask for my PIN", your child will need to provide your PIN to sign in to your account or access the "Sign-in, Security and PIN" settings page.

B) If you select "Lock it down", your child will need to provide your password to sign in to your account, and your PIN to access the "Sign-in, Security and PIN" settings page.

This should prevent your child from changing your account's PIN.
