"Lesbi" not allowed in gamertag?

I get it and I can respect the decision to ban certain terms due to offensive nature. I just thought it was weird that I can include the term lesbian in a gamertag but not lesbi. Maybe I'm ignorant to an offensive connotation to the term lesbi.

you have to think that xbox live is a global platform and has to accommodate for all cultures and faiths therefore naming has to take into account all of those.

you can have it in your profile not the name.

Hello @EliseR.1! I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing.

There could be multiple reasons why you're experiencing these issues. If the gamer tag reports as not allowed it is only because it is blocked on the XBL side for a reason. However, since you are not using anything offensive, it is most likely due to prior abuse with a banned account (spam, cheating), hacked account (closed for security), or that it is taken. Try using a different word or a different combination of words.

Wird is an islamic word so don't expect to be using that anytime soon.

Unfortunately if the tag is not permitted there is nothing that can be done. The tag could have been issued a permanent suspension or any number of other reasons for no being permitted.

If it were permitted, the system would now put numbers at the end.
