LEGO Avengers game won’t save progress on my Xbox

Try clearing the cache and then reinstall the game bro.
Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. From my research, it looks like you can only save this game when you reach a checkpoint during missions.

In freeplay you can save whenever you want. I haven't played the game myself so I don't know what these checkpoints look like. For further support with this in game question, I recommend

contacting the developers.

What signifies a checkpoint because I have gone through the whole first chapter and it still wont save.

Unless we've played the game it would be difficult to answer that specific question but most games have a manual save option in the game settings or most games will have actual save points in game you have to find to save the game. Not all games have an
auto save feature but I think the LEGO games do. You can find information regarding save points on places like YouTube where people post playthroughs and other helpful videos to help you complete the game.

If you can confirm that you are saving manually or through auto save but nothing is being saved then it could be a result of a bug in the game. Is this the only game having saving issues? Just to troubleshoot the console, go ahead and do a

hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

Try out the power cycle and let us know if this is the only game having save issues.
