Left4Dead 2 crashing.

For about several months while playing Left4Dead 2 on my xbox 360 it has been randomly restarting the game and going back to valve logo while in the middle of a game. When it started doing this it only happened on the Parish campaign. Then after a
few months it started doing it on all the other campaigns. I bought another copy of the game in case it was the disc that was at fault, but it still does it. I cleared my system cache, un-installed the game and re installed it. I deleted all the dlc and re
installed it but to no avail. The game still crashed. I have been unable to find a solution to this.

What is your most played demo or demos?

Crackdown, Left4Dead, and Bad Company 2 demos.

 

Actually, I think this has something to do with the servers for L4D. There are several bugs, for lack of a better word, that happen with that game now. One thing I would do is the next time it happens, send a message to whoever you were playing with to see
if they were booted as well. Most of the time this happens, it will not be just you being booted, and this would tell you if it is your console, game, or if indeed it is the servers.

 

Thanks for the response. I've put thousands of hours into L4D over the years and it's nearly always someone I know I'm playing with. We have tried switching from between Official dedicated to local server. It crashes on both. No everytime, but a lot of the
time. The other night while playing on official dedicated while loading up the next chapter in the game I got kicked back to the main menu but my friend, the host, didn't.

 

I've ended up back in the lobby with all the names of the other players listed, but they were still in the game. The servers are really weird for L4D.
