    Left stick stuck on new controller


    I purchased an Xbox X and used the brand new controller four times and the left stick got stuck. I don’t eat while playing, I don’t have sticky hands, and there’s nothing lodged in the stick. Is there a warranty replacement or remedy for this? I already told Microsoft about 4 5 months ago but they never responded. I also tried the alcohol trick. Nothing fixes this. I’m stuck using an old controller from Xbox one to my new console.

    Hello,

    Depending on when you brought it your warranty should still cover it, but since you used alcohol your warranty may be voided. Please take a look at the Warranty for more information.

    Have you tried using a different controller it sounds like your controllers left analog stick may be stuck going to the right.

    hello recently I got my third xbox one wireless elite controller (the two others are back in store waranty change) and still have some issue with the stiks. FIRST controller, left stick get stuck on the right when use it on this direction. then went back
    to store and get my SECOND rigth stick get stuck on right when use it on that same direction! went back to store and get my THIRD and guess what ? left and right stick get stuck on the right wen use it on this direction???? for a controller that cost half
    the price of a console ****?

    "Elite" controller is a joke

    Microsoft needs to redesign the controllers. The Elite and the regular controllers left anolog sticks always get stuck. Especially when playing Madden and NBA 2k smh.

    Nearly same thing with me, left stick is stuck moving right, it happened once before and fixed it just by plugging it in with the charge cable, but since then I've also applied the controller update and now plugging it in doesnt fix it.
