Left joy stick drift and want it fixed

If its out of warranty you might be out of luck. But you can always try the diy approach. The stick parts arent two expensive on ebay.

Its not under warranty anymore but i should be able to get a new one because this controller is like 3 months old and after i update it it starts drifting so is there anyway i can get a new one

Unfortunately this is highly unlikely to be related to a controller update, it's more often than not a hardware problem. (small bands hold the analog module central, if they wear out they may not hold it in the optimal position)

Assuming the controller hasn't been opened internally and unscrewed, it carries a 90 day manufacturers warranty with Microsoft which you can apply for here;

If its still under warranty you can get it fixed. If not a short term option in the controller settings is to set a larger dead zone, this helps illuminate the stick drift issue shirt term.
